99° Press (九十九度) is a student-organized independent press in Fudan University. The independence here means that we are the only press in Fudan campus that is not affiliated to any official organization.

While everyone is living in a quick path nowadays in China and quick reading has become a growing trending, 99° Press still preserves our ideal in quality journalism. We insist on the value of independent and proffesional reports and capture the world around us on a rational and objective perspective.

I joined 99° Press as designer on Oct 2015 and lead the design team since Aug 2016.

It’s the second year I worked on recruiting graphic as design team leader. The design is tailored for different mediums, balancing the information density and visual readability.

During the recruiting event in 2017, we published a article “The Born of a News Report” — a BTS for four of our popular reports to introduce how our press operates. Each story has a picture to help the readers have a better understanding of us in a visual approach.

This is the first time I worked on the recruiting graphic. The designed is inspired by the slogan of our press.
